I love tech products and spend a lot of time working with my tools.
- 38″ Dell U3818W Curved Monitor
Prior to purchasing it, I heard mixed reviews about ultra-wide monitors. My biggest reservation was being able to control my windows sizes and having distinct areas for certain apps. But since I’ve had it I don’t have any major complaints. By using the free Spectacle app, I have no issues with window control and resizing. The one connection USB-C cable allows me to plug-and-play my MacBook pretty quickly.
- 13″ MacBook Pro, 2.3 Ghz, 8 GB memory (2017)
Excellent laptop overall. The keyboard does have issues as documented. I’ve already had the keyboard replaced once under warranty. I’m starting to feel the space bar key degrade pretty quickly now.
- Jarvis Bamboo Standing Desk
I’d like to think I stand 50% of the time.
- Vortex Race 3 Keyboard (CherryMX Brown)
I use a mechanical keyboard for gaming, typing a lot, and when I’m doing coding lessons. The CherryMX brown keycaps are a nice balance between the tactile feel and noisy.
- Apple Magic Mouse
- Apple Wireless Keyboard
- Herman Miller Mirra Chair
I can see the appeal, but honestly it’s a clunky pieace of furniture. I think I’m going to look for a Steelcase chair next.
Design & Development
- Adobe XD
I’ve been with MT for many years. It’s cheap and reliable/.
Solid registrar. Namecheap is now my go-to for domain registration
- Google Domains
I have a few domains with Google Domains. Domains cost a tad more than Namecheap.
I was an early adopter and have roughly 19gb of space due to various referral promotions they were running back then.
I use my VPN mainly when I’m using my computer in public places.
